Jason’s primary responsibility as a campus planner and project manager at Emory Primate Center (EPC) is to coordinate and manage the design and construction efforts across user groups, the operations and maintenance team, the design team, and the construction team.

Jason was responsible for managing various NIH-funded construction projects at both campuses in Atlanta Main Station and Lawrenceville Field Station campuses in Georgia, USA. All projects represent over $3.5 million USD in project costs including projects listed below:

  • NEW NHP ANIMAL HOUSING AND COMPOUND (L1 BUILDING)
    Addition of NHP housing to expand the breeding colony in support of research.

  • EXTENSION OF EXTERNAL NHP HOUSING (M7 BUILDING)
    Renovation of an existing rhesus run with the addition of ten new outdoor housing extension.

  • MAIN BUILDING & CV ADDITION ROOF REPLACEMENT
    Replacement of existing gravel roof with new modified bitumen.

  • CAMPUS SPACES UPGRADE
    Upgrade and reconfiguration of existing BSL2 and BSL3 laboratories, offices, and lounge rooms on campus.
